Cerillion 26.2 adds agentic AI tools for telecom BSS and OSS

Cerillion has made Cerillion 26.2 generally available, adding agentic AI capabilities across customer care, service configuration, product design and churn prediction. The latest version of its pre-integrated BSS/OSS Suite also introduces new product management and 5G standalone charging features.
- Cerillion 26.2 is generally available.
- New AI agents support customer care and service configuration.
- Predictive Churn identifies customers at risk of leaving.
- The release adds native Nchf support for 5G standalone charging.
- Cerillion now reports 47 TM Forum Real World Open API certifications.
AI agents target customer care and service operations
The new Customer Care Agent is designed to help customer service teams find relevant customer and service information, resolve enquiries and identify the most appropriate next action. According to Cerillion, the tool can support faster and more consistent service while shortening the training needed to onboard new users.
A Service Configuration Agent extends the company's agentic automation to a wider range of complex service and system configuration activities. Cerillion says this reduces manual effort and reliance on specialist knowledge, helping communications service providers introduce new services and network integrations more quickly.
The release also adds Predictive Churn, which uses AI and machine-learning models to identify customers at greatest risk of leaving. The resulting churn scores can support targeted campaigns and offers through Cerillion's Promotions Engine. Cerillion says the models have proved highly effective in customer pilots.
Product design and AI governance expand
Competitor-aware Package Creation uses details of competing offers to inform agentic package design in Enterprise Product Catalogue. The feature is intended to help product teams develop differentiated propositions and create packages faster as market conditions change.
Cerillion's agentic AI features are built on its AI Management Centre, MCP Server and Agent2Agent Server. The company says the architecture allows communications service providers to adopt Cerillion's capabilities, integrate existing in-house or third-party AI investments, or combine those approaches across the Cerillion AI stack.
The AI Management Centre provides centralised model governance. The MCP Server provides secure and controlled access to Cerillion's Open APIs through its Progressive Discovery architecture, while the Agent2Agent Server supports coordinated, multi-step workflows across different agents and systems.
“Cerillion is raising the bar for agentic AI in telecom BSS/OSS,” said Vikrant Gandhi, Vice President and Global Sector Leader, ICT, Frost & Sullivan. He highlighted the company's “open, composable and model-independent architecture” and its Open APIs as a foundation for AI-orchestrated operations.
Catalogue and 5G charging updates
Enterprise Product Catalogue now includes Dynamic Catalogue Workspace, a grid-based environment for comparing and updating complex product, package and pricing structures at scale. Changes can be applied directly within the grid, according to Cerillion.
Cerillion Convergent Charging System adds a native Nchf interface for 5G standalone charging. This allows REST-based and Diameter charging interfaces to coexist within the same deployment, giving communications service providers a migration path to 5G standalone while continuing to support hybrid networks.
Enterprise Product Catalogue has also achieved TM Forum ODA Component Certification for TMFC001 Product Catalog Management.
More Open API certifications
Cerillion says it has added 15 TM Forum Real World Open API certifications since Cerillion 26.1. That brings its total to 47 across seven customers, which the company describes as more than any other independent BSS/OSS vendor.
For telecom operators, the release combines AI automation with product, charging and standards updates in one BSS/OSS suite. Cerillion's stated focus is flexibility and control: customers can use its AI tools, connect other models and systems, and apply the governance and security required for mission-critical operations.
