Margin held steady, costs tightly managed
Jonas Dahlberg, Acting CEO and CFO of Sinch, said growth was "driven by Americas". He said adjusted EBITDA held a stable margin of 13.7 percent, with costs tightly managed and efficiencies in general and administrative functions redeployed to growth investments.
Dahlberg also said adjustment items are down, cash conversion is up and the balance sheet is strengthening. He described the quarter as his first leading Sinch, and pointed to the strength of customer relationships, infrastructure and staff.
According to Dahlberg, nearly half of the Fortune 100 rely on Sinch, and its platform recently passed one trillion yearly interactions.
Pushing into the AI developer ecosystem
A central theme of the quarter was embedding Sinch's global communications network in AI-driven development tools. Dahlberg said Sinch has newly integrated its capabilities into SpaceXSI's Grok Build (formerly Cursor), as well as OpenAI's ChatGPT and Codex. He added that Sinch was already available through Anthropic Claude and Lovable.
Sinch also joined the inaugural SpaceX Super Intelligence Partner Network. The company says this integrates enterprise-grade communications capabilities into Grok Build to accelerate AI-powered application development.
Other operational highlights
- Sinch expanded direct RCS Business Messaging connectivity to all major Tier 1 operators in Canada, completing its Tier 1 RCS coverage across North America.
- It launched Mailgun Inspect on Salesforce AgentExchange, offering email testing capabilities aimed at improving deliverability and campaign performance.
- In Australia, MessageMedia was rebranded as Sinch Engage, which the company says combines local expertise with Sinch's global infrastructure and AI capabilities.
What it means
The results show steady, profitable growth rather than a sharp acceleration, with the Americas carrying the quarter. The listing of integrations with ChatGPT, Codex, Claude, Lovable and Grok Build indicates that Sinch wants to be the communications layer that AI-built applications call on, such as for messaging, email and voice. The report does not give financial figures for these integrations, so their effect on revenue is not yet visible.
Sinch, listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, said it generated net sales of USD 3 billion (SEK 27 billion) in 2025 and has been profitable since its founding in 2008. A webcast and teleconference on the report were scheduled for 10:00 CET.
