Satellite data for four types of sites
SkyFi, an AI-first Earth intelligence platform, introduced the Robinhood Agents app in September. Customers can now ask their Robinhood agent about a monitored location and receive SkyFi's most recent observation, along with an image and analyzed information such as the number of vehicles in a factory parking lot and the date of capture.
The app covers four recurring observation sets. Production Watch counts finished vehicles in assembly plant yards each week, including sites operated by electric vehicle and standard vehicle manufacturers. Fulfillment Pulse counts trucks and trailers at large e-commerce fulfillment hubs weekly.
AI Buildout Monitor tracks construction at hyperscale data center campuses every two weeks. Its analysis covers cleared land, foundation areas, and the electrical and cooling structures built before a data center comes online. Park Attendance Tracker monitors parking lot capacity at flagship theme park resorts weekly.
BlackSky supplies the imagery
BlackSky is SkyFi's first imagery supplier for the app. The companies' wider partnership brings tasking of BlackSky's high-cadence Gen-2 and 35-cm Gen-3 imagery collection into the SkyFi platform.
Each satellite observation is a point-in-time capture made according to a planned schedule. Clouds or satellite availability can prevent a planned image, in which case SkyFi says it will try again at the next opportunity. SkyFi's AI-driven analysis adds annotations and counts to the imagery delivered to users, while every result includes the actual capture date and time.
The connection between the Robinhood agent and SkyFi runs over the Model Context Protocol, or MCP, an open standard that allows an AI agent to engage directly with an outside data source.
Luke Fischer, SkyFi's CEO, said the company spent the past year making SkyFi callable by any AI agent over MCP. BlackSky CEO Brian O'Toole said the arrangement is intended to give retail investors access to the company's real-time intelligence.
Pricing and limits for users
Satellite Intelligence is available now as a Robinhood Agents app covering the four observation sets. The subscription costs $10 per month, and the first 30 days are free. Robinhood handles billing and related account terms, and other fees may apply.
The app does not provide investment advice, recommendations, or predictions. SkyFi says an observation describes conditions at one location at the moment of capture and may not reflect current conditions or a company's reported results. It also says the data should not be the sole basis for an investment decision.
The launch gives Robinhood Agents customers a way to examine selected economic activity through satellite imagery, but the service's coverage is limited to the 24 monitored sites and the observation schedules described by SkyFi.
