Veeva Systems announced the commitment on Nov. 4, 2026. Vault CRM is designed for life sciences and includes industry-specific AI intended to accelerate launches and support customer experiences, according to Veeva.

UCB's decision strengthens its strategic partnership with Veeva, according to Edwin Erckens, UCB's chief digital technology officer. "We share a deep commitment to customer success, and Vault CRM will provide UCB the technology foundation to drive commercial execution," Erckens said.

Platform targets commercial engagement

Veeva describes Vault CRM as part of the Vault CRM Suite, which it calls the technology foundation for agentic commercial. The platform is intended to support engagement between life sciences companies and their customers as UCB advances its commercial activities.

The suite also includes the Agentic Call Report. Veeva says the feature creates Commercial Evidence to uncover previously hidden treatment barriers. The announcement does not provide further details about the implementation timeline, rollout plans, or the specific UCB teams that will use the platform.

Chris Moore, president of Veeva Europe, said Vault CRM will provide UCB with a "stable, scalable, and future-ready technology foundation" to advance its commercial strategy. "Working together with UCB, we will support them in that critical mission," Moore said.

What the agreement means for the companies

For UCB, the commitment places its worldwide engagement plans on Veeva's life sciences-focused CRM platform. The company says the move will help establish the technology foundation for commercial execution, while Veeva positions its AI and agentic capabilities as tools for launch activity, customer engagement, and identifying treatment barriers.

Veeva said it serves more than 1,500 customers, ranging from the world's largest pharmaceutical companies to emerging biotechs. It delivers applications, agents, data, and consulting through its industry cloud for life sciences.

Veeva also cautioned that the release contains forward-looking statements about its products and services and the expected results or benefits from using them. The company said actual results could differ materially from those statements.
