Organic Payment Gateways is focusing on card payments for telemedicine providers and online pharmacies whose websites were built in-house or with AI tools. The company says building the site has become easier, but setting up the right merchant account and payment connection can still be a hurdle.

Key points
  • Organic Payment Gateways supports payment integration for telehealth and online pharmacy websites.
  • The company offers individually reviewed merchant accounts connected to Authorize.Net or NMI gateways.
  • The assistance also covers custom-coded websites and sites built with AI tools.
  • Support is available by phone, email and screen sharing at no additional charge.
  • The service can handle recurring and card-based payment processes.

The site gets built, but card acceptance can stall

Organic Payment Gateways announced on November 3, 2026, that it was placing greater emphasis on payment processing for telehealth practices and online pharmacies. The company helps set up merchant accounts that are reviewed specifically for the business in question, then connects them to an Authorize.Net or NMI payment gateway.

According to the announcement, AI-powered coding tools and website builders have made it cheaper and easier to create telemedicine portals, online appointment-booking sites, pharmacy checkouts and recurring membership systems. Accepting card payments can still be more difficult, particularly if a telehealth or pharmacy business has previously been rejected or shut down by its merchant account provider, Square, Stripe or PayPal.

They integrate payments alongside developers

Organic Payment Gateways works directly with the healthcare business or its developer to connect the website. The company provides integration support by phone, email and screen sharing, at no additional charge.

The support can also cover custom-built sites and pages created with AI tools. The announcement lists technologies including React, Next.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, PHP and Python. The company says it can also work with websites built using ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, Replit Agent, Grok Bot and Lovable.

Alex Roy, owner of Organic Payment Gateways, said: “AI can now take someone surprisingly far with a website. The problem is that it can build a checkout page, but it cannot get a card processor to approve the business behind it.” Roy added that the company reviews the practice’s or pharmacy’s activities, products and payment needs, then tries to match them with the appropriate merchant account and payment gateway.

What payment processes do they support?

The service can support virtual consultations, online prescription orders, GLP-1 and weight-management memberships, orders related to PDE5 inhibitor medications, saved-card charges, recurring payments, electronic invoices and “click here to pay” links.

The company’s automatic account-updater services can reduce the number of failed recurring charges caused by expired or replaced payment cards. According to the announcement, qualified healthcare practices and online pharmacies can apply for the solutions.

The focus is on keeping existing websites

Roy said developers have often already built the website they want, so the company does not want to force businesses to rebuild their sites. The goal is to establish a practical, stable and secure payment connection, while providing further assistance if needed.

Organic Payment Gateways says it has worked with high-risk and regulated businesses since 2013. The US-based company offers personal service and structures accounts based on the business’s expected volume, services and system requirements. The company is a BBB Accredited Business, has an A+ BBB rating, and its customer reviews are also available on Trustpilot.
