- Brazil and Mexico are expected to receive Performance CTV by the end of 2026.
- Canada, the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Australia are planned for 2027.
- Criteo uses commerce signals, a household graph and connected measurement for CTV campaigns.
- The company reported a 61x return on ad spend for a global travel platform.
- CTV activation is available through Criteo's Commerce Growth demand platform.
Commerce data drives the expansion
Criteo said its Performance CTV offering combines commerce audiences, flexible activation and connected measurement to help advertisers link television advertising with business outcomes. The company forms what it describes as real-time, deterministic commerce signals from more than $1 trillion in annual transactions, 740 million daily active users and more than 5 billion stock keeping units.
Its proprietary household graph links shopping behaviors and purchase intent signals to personal connected TVs. Criteo said its bidding engine uses this intelligence to optimize bids, helping advertisers reach high-intent shoppers on connected television.
The service is available through Criteo's Commerce Growth demand platform. The company said CTV is part of a wider shopper journey spanning social media, the open internet, AI-powered discovery and retail.
Advertisers can connect exposure to sales
Criteo provides closed-loop measurement intended to connect CTV ad exposure with shopper visits, conversions and sales as consumers move across channels and devices. The company said active campaigns now cover apparel, travel, home and furnishing, consumer electronics and automotive.
According to Criteo, a global travel platform generated a 61x return on ad spend and a 9% lower cost per acquisition compared with its Display campaign serving the same audience. Criteo also said its opportunity pipeline doubled over the past three months, while clients are renewing with larger budgets after initial campaigns.
Customer examples in the announcement include Franklin Planner, CarParts.com, Wine Country Gift Baskets and TripMasters. Criteo said its technology can support sequential campaigns, including follow-up ads across mobile and desktop after living-room CTV impressions.
Global rollout follows U.S. momentum
Michael Komasinski, Criteo's chief executive officer, said the early momentum in the U.S. is supporting the international rollout as advertisers seek to connect television's impact with broader digital advertising strategies.
Criteo said it is investing in commercial resources and is on track for its CTV business to double in Q4 2026 compared with Q3 2026. It also plans to expand its access to CTV supply over the coming quarters, combining direct relationships with media owners and access through supply technology partners.
The expansion gives advertisers in additional markets access to Criteo's approach for activating CTV alongside other digital channels. Its impact will depend on the company's ability to secure advertising inventory, grow the business and maintain access to the data used for targeting and measurement, areas Criteo identified as subject to risks and uncertainties.
