Go1 is partnering with OpenAI to make OpenAI Academy courses available through Go1’s learning ecosystem, giving employers a way to offer AI training through their existing learning systems. The courses are designed to help employees and leaders apply AI to their work.

Key points
  • OpenAI Academy courses are available through Go1 starting November 4, 2026.
  • The courses cover AI use for workers, leaders, developers, educators and students.
  • Go1 is targeting HR and L&D teams with delivery and progress tracking.
  • Go1 says more than 11 million learners use its platform worldwide.
  • The partnership aims to support coordinated AI learning across organizations.

OpenAI Academy courses reach Go1’s ecosystem

The courses will be available through Go1 starting today, November 4, 2026. The partnership extends OpenAI Academy content through the infrastructure that employers already use for workforce learning.

Go1 said the arrangement will help HR and learning and development teams bring AI education into their existing workforce strategies. Employees can access relevant courses through familiar systems, while organizations can track participation and progress.

Go1 describes itself as a global learning and compliance solution. More than 11 million learners worldwide use Go1, and the company works with more than 10,000 organizations globally, according to the company.

Courses target different roles and workplace needs

OpenAI Academy provides practical AI learning for knowledge workers, leaders, developers, educators and students. The courses cover applying AI to everyday work, building and evaluating AI-powered products, leading AI adoption, and using AI to support teaching and learning.

According to OpenAI, the courses combine foundational knowledge with real-world examples and hands-on application. The goal is to help people build the skills and confidence to use AI more effectively in their work.

Lois Newman, Customer Education at OpenAI, said the courses were created by combining expertise from the company’s research, product, safety and deployment teams with lessons from helping organizations use AI.

“Through practice on real tasks and learning tailored to different roles, the courses help people use AI effectively in their day-to-day work and give organizations a shared foundation for adoption across their workforce,” Newman said.

A focus on measurable workforce readiness

The partnership addresses a challenge identified by Go1: organizations are investing in AI technology, but preparation for employees can remain inconsistent. Learning may be spread across providers and platforms, making it harder for HR and L&D teams to reach different audiences, measure participation and identify capability gaps.

Through Go1, organizations will be able to include OpenAI Academy courses in a broader learning strategy. Go1 said HR and L&D teams will gain visibility into engagement, learner sentiment and emerging skill needs.

“Organizations need a way to give every employee, not just technical teams, the knowledge and confidence to use AI effectively in their role,” Go1 CEO Chris Eigeland said. He added that the partnership can help leaders turn AI learning into a coordinated, measurable workforce strategy.

For employers, the announcement connects OpenAI’s role-based AI education with an established learning delivery and measurement system. The source does not specify pricing or which individual courses will be available first.
