  • The GPUaaS market could grow from $37.41 billion to $224.09 billion between 2026 and 2032.
  • MarketsandMarkets expects a compound annual growth rate of 34.8 percent.
  • The hybrid cloud segment could expand at a growth rate of 38.6 percent.
  • AI and machine learning could be the largest application area.
  • Asia-Pacific could grow the fastest, at a rate of 38.2 percent.

Market researcher forecasts rapid expansion

According to an analysis published by MarketsandMarkets on November 3, 2026, the GPU as a Service, or GPUaaS, market could grow from $37.41 billion in 2026 to $224.09 billion by 2032. That represents a compound annual growth rate of 34.8 percent over the period under review.

The report examines the market between 2021 and 2032. The research includes 180 market data tables, 90 figures and 300 pages of analysis. MarketsandMarkets says the growth will be driven by advances in GPU computing performance and demand for applications in artificial intelligence, machine learning, high-performance computing and the media industry.

Hybrid cloud and smaller companies could be key growth areas

Among service models, infrastructure as a service, or IaaS, held the largest share. The market researcher attributes this to demand for on-demand GPU infrastructure, flexibly scalable computing capacity and access to high-performance hardware.

Among deployment types, hybrid cloud could grow the fastest, at a compound annual rate of 38.6 percent. In these environments, organizations can combine the scalability of the public cloud with control over private infrastructure. MarketsandMarkets says data security requirements, the handling of sensitive data, cost optimization and the flexible expansion of GPU capacity are all supporting this model.

The small and medium-sized business segment is expected to grow at a rate of 37.4 percent. GPUaaS could give these companies access to high-performance computing resources without significant upfront hardware investment. The report says flexible pricing, pay-as-you-go billing, the spread of generative AI and cloud-based software could also encourage adoption.

AI and machine learning could generate the strongest demand

By application, the AI and machine learning segment could be the largest, and MarketsandMarkets also expects it to post the highest compound annual growth rate, at 37.2 percent. GPUaaS can be used to train, operate and perform inference with artificial intelligence models, as well as for generative AI, deep learning, natural language processing and computer vision tasks.

The market researcher says the spread of large language models and enterprise AI applications is increasing demand for GPU infrastructure. By using GPUs as a service, companies can adjust capacity to their workloads and avoid significant upfront hardware costs.

By region, Asia-Pacific could post the highest growth rate, at 38.2 percent. The report attributes this to investment in AI infrastructure, expanding cloud capacity and the spread of GPU-accelerated computing. Companies covered in the market include Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, Google, CoreWeave, IBM, Oracle, Alibaba Cloud, Lambda, Tencent Cloud, RunPod and Nebius.
