Verda and Compal Electronics are expanding their partnership to develop Verda's global AI infrastructure. The collaboration centers on Compal's SGX30-2 server, the NVIDIA HGX B300 system and regional manufacturing capacity.

Key points
  • Verda and Compal are expanding their global AI infrastructure partnership.
  • The partnership is built around Compal's SGX30-2 server and NVIDIA HGX B300 systems.
  • The platform uses eight NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs.
  • Compal is expanding its manufacturing capacity in Daxi and the United States.
  • The corrected statement replaced Jorge Santos's earlier quote with a quote from Arturs Polis.

Partnership supports global expansion

The two companies will present their expanded collaboration at GTC Berlin 2026. According to a Compal statement, the partnership combines Verda's experience in cloud-based AI services with the Taiwanese electronics manufacturer's growing global production capacity and engineering expertise related to AI servers.

Verda is developing its cloud-based AI capacity and needs infrastructure that can be deployed quickly across multiple regions. Compal is expanding its manufacturing capacity in Daxi, Taiwan, and the United States. The company said local manufacturing could support deployments in the United States, while capacity in Daxi could support expansion in the EMEA region and Asia.

According to the statement, this could enable greater flexibility, a more resilient supply chain and faster deployment as Verda expands its AI infrastructure worldwide.

Flagship server built around eight NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs

Verda provides expertise in deploying and operating GPU infrastructure in the cloud. Compal uses its engineering and manufacturing capacity to turn accelerated computing technologies into deployment-ready infrastructure.

The next phase of the collaboration is supported by Compal's SGX30-2 server. The platform is built on NVIDIA HGX B300 systems and uses eight NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs. The companies present it as a next-generation computing foundation designed for high-density AI workloads.

Arturs Polis, Verda's chief technology officer, said the company's aim is to provide the computing power needed by the world's leading AI teams. In the statement, he said the next two years will be decisive for business development aimed at meeting growing demand, while the cooperation with Compal will enable rapid and reliable operational expansion.

European market in focus at GTC Berlin

GTC Berlin 2026 is the next stage of the partnership. Verda and Compal are exploring with their customers and technology partners how advanced computing, regional manufacturing and cloud operations can be combined to accelerate the global deployment of AI.

Visitors can find more information about the collaboration at Verda's booth 3059. According to the statement, the event is also important for the companies because demand for AI computing capacity continues to grow in Europe and across the global market.

Verda is headquartered in Helsinki and operates in Europe, the United States and Asia. The company employs approximately 250 people representing more than 40 nationalities and has raised more than $450 million in funding. Compal was founded in 1984 and is headquartered in Taipei, with design and manufacturing facilities in the United States, Taiwan, China, Vietnam, Mexico, Brazil and Poland, among other locations.

The original statement published on PR Newswire on October 22, 2026, was later corrected. The earlier version incorrectly included a quote from Jorge Santos, Verda's chief operating officer. It was replaced by a statement from Arturs Polis, the company's chief technology officer.
