Higgsfield Launches Shorts Studio With AI Presenter Videos

Higgsfield has launched Shorts Studio, a tool for creating vertical 9:16 videos hosted by an AI presenter. Users can add characters, products or clothing, write a script, and optionally provide a reference video whose motion is transferred to the short.
- Shorts Studio creates 9:16 videos hosted by an AI presenter.
- Users can add up to 38 images or videos as materials.
- Shorts can run from 15 seconds to 2 minutes.
- Basic and High quality options determine generation cost and time.
- A 2-minute High short uses 1,920 credits.
AI presenters for product and trend videos
Shorts Studio is designed for short-form videos in which an AI presenter speaks a user-provided script. Higgsfield says the format can be used to present a product, showcase clothing, follow a trend, or create a series of episodes with the same presenter.
For example, a bag brand could use one short to describe a bag's pockets and materials, then use another to show the bag on a weekend trip. Reusing the same presenter allows a series to retain one face and one voice for the brand, according to Higgsfield.
Users can supply up to 38 images or videos containing characters, products or clothing. Materials can be selected from Uploads, AI Influencer, Generations, and Liked, so existing assets in an account do not need to be uploaded again.
How Shorts Studio works
The tool uses three main inputs: the visual materials, the script, and an optional reference video. The reference video must be between 10 and 120 seconds long and is used to extract and transfer motion to the new character or scene.
Users start by choosing a reference, adding a presenter, and selecting a voice. Voice options include Male, Female, and Custom. Higgsfield also provides an Auto generate option that creates a voice matched to the uploaded character.
In the Script step, users describe the topic and Shorts Studio writes the script. They can then select a length of 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, or 2 minutes, along with Basic or High quality. Higgsfield describes Basic as faster and cheaper with medium quality, while High offers better quality at a higher cost and longer generation time.
Shorts can be generated on the Higgsfield website or in Claude with Higgsfield MCP. Finished videos are saved in the History tab.
Credits and checks before posting
Shorts Studio uses Higgsfield credits. The cost depends on the selected video length and quality, and appears on the Generate button before creation. Based on Higgsfield's mid-tier Plus plan at $49 for 1,000 credits, a 15-second Basic short uses 90 credits, with an estimated cost of $4.41. A 2-minute High short uses 1,920 credits, with an estimated cost of $94.08.
Higgsfield recommends checking the finished video before posting. Users should verify that the presenter's face remains consistent, products retain their shape, color and label, the spoken text matches the script, and transferred motion looks natural. The company also advises keeping faces and products away from the edges of the 9:16 frame, where captions and platform buttons may appear.
Users are responsible for clearing rights to characters, photos, clips and reference videos. Higgsfield says permission is needed for any real person's likeness.
