Kaizen named an IDC Innovator for supporting manufacturing circularity

November 3, 2026, 15:15Source: PR Newswire

Kaizen Circularity AI has been named an IDC Innovator for using artificial intelligence to help manufacturers increase their use of recycled materials. The company says its platform manages costs, product quality and circularity within a single operating system.

Key points
  • Kaizen Circularity AI was included in IDC's 2026 Innovators report.
  • The cloud-based platform supports the use of recycled materials.
  • The system connects procurement, manufacturing, quality modeling and inventory management.
  • The company says the solution has demonstrated measurable benefits in large-scale manufacturing environments.
  • The platform will soon be expanded to automotive batteries and battery materials.

Featured in IDC's report on sustainability software

Kaizen Circularity AI said on November 3 that it had been included in the report titled IDC Innovators: AI-Native/Enabled Sustainability Software Across the Product Life Cycle, 2026. The document is part of the IDC Innovator program, and Kaizen says the company was selected in the market for AI-based or AI-enabled sustainability software.

According to IDC, the Innovators report highlights vendors in a particular market segment that offer new technology, an innovative solution to an existing problem or an innovative business model. At the time of selection, the program covers companies with annual revenue of less than $100 million.

The report is not a comprehensive market assessment and is not a comparative ranking of all companies involved. IDC highlights a group of companies selected by an analyst in a specific market area.

Bringing materials and manufacturing together in one system

Kaizen Circularity AI offers a cloud-based SaaS platform for material producers, recyclers and other manufacturing companies. The system is designed to optimize operations, reduce raw material costs and meet quality requirements while increasing the use of recycled materials.

The Circularity AI Platform coordinates the sourcing of recycled materials with product manufacturing. It combines real-time process adaptation, product-quality forecasting and inventory management in a single system. The platform also uses custom AI agents to support integration with a company's operations, materials management and finances.

The continuously learning artificial intelligence uses historical and real-time data on the composition of raw materials. The company's proprietary back-calculation capability infers the actual composition of materials from measured output quality. Kaizen says this makes it easier to incorporate recycled materials and new supplier sources.

The goal is to align costs, quality and circularity

The company says the platform can increase supplier flexibility and the use of recycled materials while reducing dependence on more expensive primary, or virgin, materials. The system also supports strategic and adaptive supply chain planning, procurement, dynamic control of manufacturing processes and workforce development.

According to Kaizen, the solution has already demonstrated measurable financial and sustainability benefits in large-scale manufacturing environments. The platform is also used by a Tier 1 supplier that supplies leading automotive original equipment manufacturers, or OEMs.

Krishna Arangode, CEO of Kaizen Circularity AI, said the IDC recognition shows that circularity can become part of manufacturers' operations. The company's goal is to help manufacturers make better decisions about recycled materials by considering cost, quality and production requirements together.

Kaizen Circularity AI currently focuses on the metals and materials industry. The company says the Circularity platform will soon also cover automotive batteries and battery materials. For users, this could mean a platform that connects raw material sourcing and manufacturing decisions to the same data and analytics system.
