Pyramid Systems will provide AIR-Quire technical expertise, product information, implementation, and related support. The two companies will collaborate on customer requirements, proposed solutions, pricing, and responses to applicable SEWP VI requests for quotation.
Following SEWP VI ordering activation, eligible agencies may request AIR-Quire-related solutions and services through the contract. Any resulting orders remain subject to agency procurement procedures, applicable contract requirements, award decisions, and the scope and ordering requirements of SEWP VI.
What the companies are offering
Pyramid describes AIR-Quire as an AI-native system of intelligence for federal acquisition. The company says the platform is designed to support acquisition work, including drafting and checking, while leaving critical decisions with government teams.
“Contracting offices are being asked to finish more acquisitions with the same people,” Susie Field, President and Chief Operating Officer at Pyramid Systems, said in the announcement. “We built AIR-Quire to take on the drafting and checking, so their teams can put more of their time into the decisions.”
Field said the partnership gives agencies “a familiar way to buy it.” The specific responsibilities of Pyramid Systems and Bell Federal Systems will be governed by their applicable written agreements.
Why the partnership matters for agencies
The teaming arrangement combines Pyramid’s AIR-Quire expertise with Bell Federal’s role as a NASA SEWP VI Category C prime contractor and its federal contracting experience. That gives eligible agencies a contract pathway for evaluating and requesting the platform, although the announcement does not guarantee that any order will be placed.
“Our teaming with Pyramid Systems brings its federal acquisition technology together with our federal contracting experience,” Bell Federal Systems President Adrian Bell said. He added that the company looks forward to helping agencies evaluate solutions that make acquisition processes more efficient “while keeping people accountable for critical decisions.”
Pyramid Systems is an employee-owned federal technology company founded in 1995 and based in Fairfax, Virginia. Bell Federal Systems is a U.S. small business federal government contractor specializing in information technology, professional services, acquisition support, and mission-focused solutions.
