Atlantic Data Security has partnered with LogSeam to power its Harbour AI SOC managed service, combining LogSeam’s agentic AI technology with ADS’s cybersecurity expertise. The offering is designed to automate routine security work, accelerate threat investigations and help organizations use their security resources more effectively.

Key points
  • ADS is partnering with LogSeam to power its Harbour AI SOC offering.
  • The service automates case creation, data correlation, investigations and documentation.
  • Defined permissions and human oversight are part of the service.
  • LogSeam separates log retention from analytics licensing.
  • Customers retain ownership of their security data and control over where it resides.

Agentic workflows for security operations

Harbour AI SOC is aimed at security teams dealing with growing alert volumes, increasingly complex threats and rising operational costs. Atlantic Data Security said analysts often spend significant time on repetitive work, including alert triage, investigation and documentation.

The service uses agentic workflows to automatically create cases, correlate security data, investigate suspicious activity, document findings and recommend remediation actions. According to ADS, this allows analysts to focus on more complex threats and strategic risk reduction.

The company said the service differs from traditional automation, which depends on predefined rules and playbooks. Harbour AI SOC operates within defined permissions and human oversight requirements, allowing security teams to retain control over critical decisions.

LogSeam separates data retention from analytics licensing

The partnership also targets the cost of managing security data. LogSeam separates log retention from analytics licensing, which the companies said enables organizations to retain more security telemetry without the high costs commonly associated with traditional SIEM platforms.

Customers maintain ownership of their data and control over where it resides. LogSeam describes its platform as combining security data management with agentic AI capabilities, including AI driven investigation and response workflows.

“Security operations can't scale without efficiency, and the cost of data has been a major constraint. LogSeam removes that barrier,” said Dan Wiley, CEO of LogSeam. He added that clients receive “the system and the service, not another tool they have to staff.”

A managed service designed to work with existing tools

Harbour AI SOC is designed to integrate with existing security technologies, so organizations can use the service without replacing their current security investments. ADS is combining the automation capabilities from LogSeam with its managed security expertise.

“Security teams don't need another tool generating more alerts. They need the capacity to investigate and resolve threats more effectively,” said Mark Ostrowski, CTO of Atlantic Data Security. He said Harbour AI SOC is intended to handle routine investigations and response workflows while leaving critical decisions to security professionals.

For users, the announcement points to a managed approach to agentic AI in security operations. The service is positioned as a combination of technology and experienced security professionals, with human oversight, existing technology integration and customer control over security data as central parts of the offering.
