Higgsfield has compared seven AI image models on a single fashion prompt, finding that the strongest choice depends on the production task. GPT Image 2.5 matched the checked details without listed errors, while other models offered advantages for recurring characters, reference images, editing and product mockups.

Key points
  • Higgsfield tested seven AI image models with one shared fashion prompt.
  • GPT Image 2.5 matched all of the checked prompt details listed in the test.
  • Soul 2.0 was recommended for editorials with one recurring model.
  • Nano Banana Pro and Kling O1 were positioned for reference-image workflows.
  • Approximate image costs ranged from 0.125 to 8 credits.

One prompt, seven different strengths

The comparison covers Higgsfield Soul 2.0, Nano Banana Pro, Kling O1, Seedream 5.0 Pro, FLUX 3, GPT Image 2.5 and Recraft V4.1. Higgsfield grouped them by task rather than naming one universal winner.

Higgsfield Soul 2.0 was positioned for editorials with one recurring model. Nano Banana Pro and Kling O1 were suited to workflows built from reference photos. Seedream 5.0 Pro and FLUX 3 were recommended for precise edits, GPT Image 2.5 for images containing text, and Recraft V4.1 for product mockups in brand colors.

In the test, GPT Image 2.5 kept the five buttons, wavy stripes, collar, cuffs, wrap hem, boots and cap from the prompt, with no errors among the checked details. Higgsfield Soul 2.0 kept the wavy stripes and most clothing details but generated six buttons instead of five. Recraft V4.1 matched the listed garment details but changed the chartreuse stripes to light mint.

How Higgsfield tested the models

Higgsfield gave every model the same English prompt for a full-length fashion lookbook image. The prompt specified a model wearing an olive-chartreuse cardigan with five tortoiseshell buttons, an acid-lime shirt, a black and chartreuse wavy-striped skirt, lime-green boots, a flat cap and a structured bag.

Each model ran on Higgsfield with a 3:4 frame and 2K resolution. Higgsfield generated four images per model and selected one result for the comparison, meaning each displayed image was its pick of four rather than a first attempt. The test used the Image section without presets, styles or prompt enhancement.

The review checked button count and placement, stripes, collar and cuffs, skirt hem, bag, boots and cap, along with objects absent from the prompt. Higgsfield said it listed only details that anyone could check in the image.

Costs and practical trade-offs

The approximate regular credit costs per image ranged from 0.125 credits for Higgsfield Soul 2.0 to 8 credits for Recraft V4.1. The listed approximate dollar costs ranged from $0.006 to $0.39, based on $49 for 1,000 credits. Higgsfield said these prices and plan details may change, and the pricing was checked on November 5, 2026.

Nano Banana Pro used 2 credits, while Kling O1 used 0.5. Seedream 5.0 Pro, FLUX 3 and GPT Image 2.5 each used 3 credits. Recraft V4.1 used the Pro tier for a 2K image. Its Standard tier was listed at 1.25 credits, or $0.06, for an 896 × 1216 px image at 3:4.

The results suggest that fashion teams may need to select a model according to the asset they are producing. A recurring lookbook character, reference-based composition, exact edit, text-heavy campaign graphic and palette-controlled mockup call for different capabilities, according to Higgsfield's comparison.
